I was taught that to get the best shot you have to be prepared. My dad was willing to carry whatever was necessary through a muddy jungle to get the shot. I will happily do the same for my clients, jungle or not.

Since I was a little kid I’ve felt more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it.

Born and raised in Southern California, I fell in love photography at a young age, guided by my father who took it up as a hobby. He even built a rudimentary darkroom for us to develop and print our own black and white images.

It’s easy to take for granted now the ability to capture special moments with our cell phones in just seconds, but somehow he was able to capture my family’s moments on film throughout my entire life as if it was just as easy.
